Presentation Training Tips to Avoid Running out of Breath

Looking for public speaking tips? You have to breathe when you’re giving a presentation. It revitalizes you and helps you remember what to say.  There are so many times I’ll be coaching someone and at the end of their presentation, they’ll take a big, deep breath. It’s as though they didn’t breathe the whole time they were presenting. Watch the 90-second  presentation training video below for public speaking tips to help you breathe authentically while you’re giving a presentation.

Public Speaking Tips to Breathe Authentically:

  1. When it’s time to look back to the screen, silently look back and take a breath.
  2. Be thoughtful about what you want to say next.
  3. Walk from one side of the room to the other, stop talking and take a breath.

Breathing will help replenish you. It will help you stay grounded and focused. Most importantly, it’s going to help you remember what to say.
